30-Minute Homemade Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In stand mixer bowl, stir together 1 c. flour, pizza crust yeast, sugar and salt. Using a spoon or spatula, stir in water and oil until well blended, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough, and then mix on medium speed with a dough hook for approximately 5 minutes until dough has formed a smooth ball. (If you are not using a stand mixer, knead dough on a well-floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth instead.)
  4. Use a rolling pin to roll dough into a large circle, and then stretch and pat it into a 12″ pizza pan. Spread desired amount of pizza sauce over the crust, leaving at least 1/2″ inch around the edges unexposed. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce, and then arrange desired toppings over the cheese.
  5. Bake on lowest oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned.
