Don’t miss this sweet and beautiful pink sangria bursting with raspberry flavor!
Last week’s cocktail, albeit beautiful to look at, didn’t seem to be too popular. Maybe adding dill to a martini was a little too far out there, so this week I’m bringing you an extremely drinkable pink sangria. This is fifth sangria recipe on The Weary Chef already. What can I say? I enjoy putting fruit in wine. I adore wine on its own, but it’s fun to turn it into a fruity cocktail for a change sometimes. Plus, it’s so easy to make a pitcher of sangria ahead of time and then be able to casually refill your glass when you are in the middle of a conversation or scrolling through Pinterest or fighting zombies in Minecraft or whatever you like to do while sipping your fruity pink sangria. Who wants to put their party on hold to go to the kitchen to make another round of cocktails? This recipe does not mess around with raspberry flavor. The first sip was, “Wow! That tastes like raspberries!” Then after a few sips, it was, “OK, I’m starting to taste the mango.” After the second glass, it was more like, “This is my favorite drink ever.” I actually added Chambord raspberry liqueur to the version shown here, but I realized after the fact that it really didn’t need any help in the berry flavor department, so I left it out in the final recipe.
