Ingredients
12oz – Sour Cream (or Crema Mexicana)
½ cup Rotel Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilis drained (one 10oz can is about 1 cup) – salsa can also work in a pinch
1 ea – Jalapeno, diced, seeds removed (about ¼ cup – you can also use canned or jarred jalapenos, drained and diced)
1 Tablespoon Hot sauce (Tapatio, Cholula are best, but can use what you have on hand, including Sriracha)
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
½ lime juiced
Instructions
- Deseed and dice jalapeno
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
This dip is also great warm and can be heated in an oven-safe dish at 325 for 20 mins or in the microwave for 60 seconds stirring every 30 seconds.
