- 1 bag green tea
- 4 tablespoon taro powder
- 2 tablespoon simple sugar syrup
- ice
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking Tapioca pearls
Instructions
Prepare the Green Tea with Taro Powder

Steep the tea bag in a 1/2 cup of water for 5 minutes.

After removing the tea bag, add the taro powder and mix well. Let it cool to room temperature and then chill in the fridge.
Make the Sugar Simple Syrup

Heat the sugar and water on a pan over low to medium heat. Don’t forget to stir occasionally.

To make a thin simple syrup for sweetening your boba milk tea, heat the mixture only until the sugar has fully dissolved in the water.
Prepare the Tapioca Pearls

Add the boba to a small pot with boiled water and cook for 10-15 minutes. If you don’t have quick-cooking boba, boil them as said in the product’s instructions.

Once cooked, transfer the boba straight to the brown sugar syrup (to stop them from sticking together).
Assemble the Taro Milk Tea

Use tall glasses and add the boba syrup mixture first. Next, add the tea, the milk, and finally the ice.
