30-Minute Homemade Pizza - No rise time required!

30-Minute Homemade Pizza

This simple pizza recipe can be on the table in about 30 minutes!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour (or in my case spelt flour)
  • 1 envelope Fleischmann’s® Pizza Crust Yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup very warm water 120 to 130°F
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or more to taste
  • 12 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • your favorite toppings (You will need 6 oz. sliced black olives, a slice of salami, and a mini bell pepper to decorate as shown.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In stand mixer bowl, stir together 1 c. flour, pizza crust yeast, sugar and salt. Using a spoon or spatula, stir in water and oil until well blended, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough, and then mix on medium speed with a dough hook for approximately 5 minutes until dough has formed a smooth ball. (If you are not using a stand mixer, knead dough on a well-floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth instead.)
  4. Use a rolling pin to roll dough into a large circle, and then stretch and pat it into a 12″ pizza pan.
  5. Spread desired amount of pizza sauce over the crust, leaving at least 1/2″ inch around the edges unexposed. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce, and then arrange desired toppings over the cheese.
  6. Bake on lowest oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned.
