  • 1 cup bow tie pasta, dry

  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes or to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • water if you want your sauce to be less thick.


  1. First of all, cook the bow tie pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set it aside.
  2. Next, in a small saucepan, melt the butter.
  3. Then, stir in the flour and seasonings until blended.
  4. Gradually add the milk, broth, and water (if you want to go for a lighter sauce).
  5. Bring everything to a boil. Then, just cook and stir until slightly thickened (about 2 minutes).
