You won't believe that these tart, spicy fish tacos are on the table in about 15 minutes!

Spicy Fish Tacos with Lime

Fifteen minutes is all you need to make a healthy, flavorful fish taco dinner!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive or safflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (I used Tapatio brand)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 11/2 pounds fish fillets (catfish shown here)
  • 810 small tortillas
  • toppings of your choice (shredded cabbage, salsa, sliced avocado, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together lime juice, oil, hot sauce, and salt. Add fish and toss to coat. If you have time, leave in marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and spray with cooking spray. Saute fish until brown on both sides and cooked through (time varies depending on type of fish).
  3. To serve, place fish on tortilla and top with desired condiments. Yum!
