- 1/4 large lime or 1/2 small lime
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed ginger to taste or to taste
- 2 ounces black spiced rum
- 4–6 ounces ginger beer or substitute ginger ale
- lime wedges for garnish optional
Instructions
- In a 12-14 oz. glass, squeeze juice from lime wedges and toss in the lime pieces.
- Add crushed ginger and rum, and stir together.
- Fill glass nearly full with ice, and top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with lime wedge if desired.
