First of all, clean and cut the rhubarb.

Place the pieces in a large bowl and sprinkle them with sugar. Mix everything really well.

Then, place the bowl in the refrigerator to set it overnight. You’ll see the next morning how the sugar nicely combined with the rhubarb’s juice and formed a bitter-sweet syrup.

Add the rhubarb and sugar composition to a large pot on the stove.

Then, sprinkle with 2 packages of strawberry jello and stir until well mixed.

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes.

Finally, remove from the stove and let the rhubarb jam cool completely.
