Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe (Video Tutorial)

This old-fashioned Peach Cobbler recipe is made with fresh or canned peaches so you can enjoy it all year round! Extremely easy to make at home with simple ingredients.

Instructions

  1. ** If using canned peaches (like I did), skip steps 1 and 2 and go straight to step 3.** Add the sliced peaches, sugar, and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine.

  2. Then, cook on medium heat for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is dissolved. Here, you’ll be able to notice how the juice came out from the peaches. Remove from heat and set aside to chill.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  4. Slice butter into pieces and add to your desired baking dish (I used two little ones as I prepared this for only me and hubby). Next, place the pan in the oven while it preheats, to allow the butter to melt.
  5. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  6. Then, stir in the milk, just until everything’s combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into the baking dish, over the melted butter, and smooth the batter into an even layer.
  8. Next, just spoon the peaches (or canned peaches) over the batter. Also, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon generously over the top.
  9. Finally, bake the peach cobbler at 350 degrees for about 38-40 minutes. I recommend serving it warm, with a scoop of ice cream, if you have it on hand.
