Homemade Chicken and Stars Soup in under 30 Minutes

Why buy the cans when you can make wholesome and delicious chicken and stars soup at home?

Homemade Chicken and Stars Soup

Adorable shapes can go a long way in convincing kids to eat. The whole family will love this simple chicken soup with carrots and cute, star-shaped pasta. It is a no-fuss dinner that takes little time or effort. Chicken and Stars soup was a staple in our house when I was a kid. I think it may have been the only food my sister would eat for a while! Some kids love the tomato soup + grilled cheese sandwich combo, but for us it was chicken and stars + peanut butter sandwich all the way. If your kids aren’t allergic to the color green, this would also be great with about a cup of frozen peas or fresh baby spinach leaves added with the broth. Don’t forget the crusty bread (or peanut butter sandwiches) for dipping!

I am sorry you have gout. My husband had it also, but what he did was go to a vitamin store and get either blackberry juice or cherry juice. He takes it and it helps a great deal. Hope you are better soon. Love your site very much …
keep it going.

Thank you for the tip about the cherry juice, Ginger! I think I will try that or cherry juice extract supplements. Good thing I love cherries! Thanks so much for your sweet comment. I appreciate it so much! xo
