You will love to sink your teeth into this chewy yogurt pizza crust!

Do you like making pizza at home? I sure do! I love that I have total control over what goes in it and can put the exact amount of sauce, toppings, and cheese that I want.

There has been a lot of talk going around about 2-Ingredient Pizza Dough, and I was excited to give it a try. I read many comments warning me not to use a 1:1 ratio of flour and yogurt, so I modified the measurements. I don’t use self-rising flour, so I added a leavening agent to all-purpose flour. I also added garlic powder and salt to give a flavor boost. All this turned into easy, chewy pizza crust!
You really want to use a stand mixer for this recipe if possible. Mine has a dough hook, and the mixer does all the work for me. If you don’t have a mixer, you can stir it as best you can by hand and then knead it for about 10 minutes. I haven’t made it by hand this way, but I’m sure it will work. If you need a stand mixer, here are a couple recommendations from Amazon (affiliate links):

Homemade Yogurt Pizza Crust
You will love to sink your teeth into this chewy yogurt pizza crust!
- Total Time: 25 minutes
- Yield: 4 1x
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour plus up to 1/4 cup more
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup greek yogurt
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
-
Add all crust ingredients to mixer bowl, and stir with spatula just until combined. Mix on medium-low speed with dough hook for 5 minutes.
-
After 5 minutes, dough will be very sticky and gooey. Continue mixing, and sprinkle in 1 tbsp. of flour at a time until dough is thicker and more like a ball. Turn off mixer and transfer dough to floured surface.
-
Divide dough into a ball. Sprinkle surface of dough with a little more flour and roll or pat/stretch into a shape to fit a pizza pan or baking sheet. Place your pizza-to-be on a pan lined with a silicone mat or sprayed with cooking spray.
-
Spread desired amount of sauce over the crust. Add toppings and cheese, and bake for approximately 15 minutes, until crust is brown and cheese is bubbly. Slice and enjoy!
