You are going to love this recipe! These little cheeseburger bundles are a lot like homemade hot pockets. You could change up the filling to use chicken or pepperoni or veggies. My boys love everything better when it’s wrapped in bread and cheese, so I might be able to sneak in some vegetables next time without them even noticing!

This recipe might not exactly be homemade, but I was surprised that I could make it with organic ingredients. Annie’s has organic crescent roll dough now, and finding organic or even vegetarian frozen meatballs is pretty easy. If you’d rather make your own meatballs and pizza dough for this recipe, then you are my hero! I personally like the shortcuts of refrigerator crescent roll dough and pre-made meatballs :)

I just made a new video for this recipe, but did you know I actually made my first ever video tutorial for this recipe back in 2013? The lighting and sound leave a lot to be desired, but if you want to see that classic tutorial, check it out here. I actually made them a different way the first time around with french bread dough instead of crescent rolls, but it’s basically the same idea.

These stuffed crescent rolls are good for dinner, after school snacks, or football food. Just make sure to let them cool down a bit before serving. I kind of burned myself trying to get those melty cheese photos, so learn from my mistake. They taste just as good when the filling is less like hot lava :) Enjoy!
