You know what you need? Avocados. You know where you need them? In your breakfasts, lunches AND desserts. “Desserts?! That’s preposterous!” I hear you cry. Not so, my friend. Not so.
Hello again! It’s Kirsten here. When last we spoke, I was Andi’s social media assistant, but I have (sadly!) had to give that up to take on a full-time teaching role. I’m still going to pop my head in from time to time to shower you lovely people with excellent recipes, so I hope we can still be friends. Speaking of friendship, how good are avocados? (Lucky I have a degree in education and not segueing.) Turns out you can do a lot more with avocados than merely spreading them on your toast or putting them in a salad. Who knew that avocados could be a delicious dessert ingredient? Probably everybody, but I’m still amazed at the versatility of this wonderful, healthy fruit. (And yes, it is a fruit – I had to Google that one). Here are ten incredible avocado recipes that you’ll want to make immediately!

Avocados are pretty hard to beat, what a great collection of recipes you’ve put together!
I have to give Kirsten all the credit, but I’m so glad you liked the roundup. Thank you, Sheena!
Great collection of recipes. I really need to incorporate more avocado in mine and my daughter’s diet.
I LOVE avocado! My only problem is that right now they are $2 each in my area. Ouch! I hope the price will go back down soon. Thank you, Michelle!
Andi, how much do avocados cost where you live? $2 is cheap for an avocado here!
Really? Sometimes they are on sale for $1 or $1.25 is sort of a standard price most of the time. They are grown in our state though, so I guess we can get them cheaper!
These look amazing!
Thanks, Maria!
Avocados are a favorite around here! I love including them in recipes because my kids love them too! I can’t wait to try out the chocolate cookies!
Don’t those cookies look so good?? I need to get some of those humongous chocolate chips :) Thank you, Holly!
Avocado muffins have been on my to-bake list – those blueberry ones look great! What an awesome roundup!
Thanks, Cate! I have only made fudge or cookies as desserts with avocado so far. Oh, and a chocolate smoothie. They were all good, so I need to remember to do it more often! xo
OMG that avocado ranch burrito looks so freaking good!
When the words avocado, ranch, and burrito are involved, how can it NOT be good?? Thanks, Derek!
There’s never any such thing as having too many avocado recipes, so I love this round-up! Thank you for including my kale salad.
My pleasure! (Well, really it was Kirsten’s pleasure, but I’m excited she included it!) :)
What a fantastic round-up of simple avocado recipes. Avocados never seem to go bad here and we are always looking for new ways to include them into our meals!
I like them in just about any way. Thank you, Kacey!
