Weeknights may be hectic and challenging, and there is always the dilemma of what to prepare that is delicious, yet wholesome and healthful for the entire family. At the end of the day, you’re worn out and searching for some fast cooking time in the kitchen. That’s when ground turkey stir fry will save your night!
In my opinion, ground turkey is seriously underestimated. It’s an excellent lean protein and goes great with this stir fry. Everyone in your home is guaranteed to love it! This stir fry comes together in record time. It’s ready in 30 minutes, and I guarantee you’ll add it right away to your rotation of ground turkey dishes. Who doesn’t enjoy a little flair when it comes to ground turkey?
How to Make Ground Turkey Stir Fry
Easy stir-fry meals are something I truly never get tired of! What’s not to love, after all? You can fit in a ton of vegetables with only a few simple ingredients, and they cook up quickly! They are simpler when you use ground beef because there is no need to chop or slice raw meat (not a fan of this task). The versatility of this ground turkey stir fry makes it even better. Make it hot or mild, with any veggies you have on hand, and serve it over rice or noodles.
Ingredients for your Ground Turkey Stir Fry
The ingredients we will use are simple and are meant to make our meat super tasty. The sauce full of delicious ingredients will change the meat and give it a unique flavor.
Add the bell pepper and carrot, and cook for four to five minutes, or until tender.
After adding the sauce, simmer it for a further two to three minutes, or until it is well-mixed and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in green onions. Serve and enjoy!

How to Serve this Stir Fry
If after you are almost ready to cook you think that something else will go next to you, I recommend you think about a puree, and if a simple puree is maybe… too simple for you, then I recommend you Longhorn Mashed Potatoes. This recipe for Longhorn Mashed Potatoes is a buttery and garlic-flavored way to serve potatoes at home. You can also cook this restaurant-style side dish with more than inexpensive items in less than 1 hour.
Alongside a bowl full of rice is another very fantastic way to serve Ground Turkey Stir Fry. Try the Dill-icious Rice Pea-laf if you want to spice up something a bit more than plain rice but aren’t in the mood for risotto. This is a very simple side dish that goes great with just about any meat. In addition, the only amounts you need to stick to strictly are the rice and liquid. You can adjust the herbs or add in other things like finely diced carrots or slivered almonds if that’s your thing. Make it your own, and I bet you’ll be making this easy rice pilaf every time you prepare ground turkey!
Also, as a healthy cheat, if you want to feel the taste of some fries, I do recommend Crinkle Cut Fries. These cajun-seasoned crinkle-cut friescan be such a family-friendly side dish or snack. Clearly, the easiest method for the best-tasting wavy fries that guarantee absolute crispiness and bold cajun flavor. Not to mention that all the ingredients are dairy-free and vegan. However, they pair wonderfully with the ground turkey stir fry, at least that’s what my boyfriend thinks.
Enjoy Your Full-of Protein Meal!
Now that we are done with the recipe and I’m sure it turned out great, I’m curious to see what other vegetables you want to add. Sure, some of you have already thought about how this recipe would look with some broccoli or some zucchini. I want to see some photos, too! As always, I am glad to share with you recipes that are dear to me and can be of great help to you too. However, I’m always interested in knowing what you think about them and whether would you improve them.
Last but not least, if you want to step up the difficulty of the recipe, you can check Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers for a more complex but still very delicious meal to prepare for your dear ones.
