Today I have a super easy dinner recipe for you that I just know your family will love. These BBQ Chicken Tacos topped with a super easy purple slaw require no cooking at all except for a little microwave heating. The chicken I used is Farm Rich Smokehouse BBQ Chicken, and it tastes as good homemade. Really!

Would you believe I didn’t start eating pulled BBQ (as far as I can remember) until college? I grew up in Mississippi, so that just doesn’t sound right. I think it wasn’t a food my family made on the regular, but there is a cute BBQ place near Mississippi State (my alma mater) called Little Dooey’s, and that’s where I fell in love with BBQ sandwiches. I had to leave that fine food behind when we moved to California, but I still love good BBQ when I can get it!

Slow cooking meat and making BBQ sauce sounds like a lot of work, but thankfully Farm Rich did that work for me in this Smokehouse Pulled Chicken BBQ. They start with premium cuts of meat and really do cook them for hours in a smokehouse, then they shred the meat and mix it with all-natural sauces without artificial ingredients or preservatives. Besides BBQ chicken, they have beef brisket, pulled pork BBQ, and mustard pork BBQ. Any of those would be great to try in this taco recipe or serve on buns to please a hungry crowd.

To make these BBQ Chicken Tacos, just stir up a few ingredients for your coleslaw, and set it aside while you heat the chicken and get the table set up. Not only is this dinner easy to prepare, everyone can have fun building their own tacos, which means even less work for you in the kitchen! This would be such a fun meal for a football party or tailgating. Kids would love it for a creative birthday party meal too.
