Cinnamon Hazelnut Dip - This Nutella dip tastes like chocolate cheesecake!

Hello, my friends! I could hardly wait to show you this Nutella dip that tastes like chocolate cheesecake today! Recently, I bought the kids whole wheat pretzel rods thinking they would be a fun, healthy snack. Neither of them wanted anything to do with them, and I will admit that they were a tad bland and dry. I hate wasting food, so I wanted to find a way to trick convince them to eat them. Enter this yummy Nutella dip. I had everything on hand to make this, and you might too. You can happily dip pretty much any kind of fruit or lightly-sweetened cookie into this dip. It’s so good, you could even eat it with a spoon, not that I would suggest such a thing. (I totally did this.) Store it in your fridge for a few days and pull it out anytime you need a quick snack or chocolate fix. Happy dipping, my friends!

happy dipping indeed :-) Loving anything that has anything to do with nutella. This dip looks great, and even better it’s lightened up a bit with lower-fat cream cheese. Smart move Weary Chef and Awesome Mom. Convincing kids to do things they don’t think they want to do is your job!

Would you believe this is the first time I’ve ever used Nutella? I’ve seen it in so many recipes lately that I picked up a jar over the weekend to do something with. I wasn’t quite sure what that would be, but this was an easy way to start. Yummy stuff for sure!

google “nutella swirl pound cake,” then make yourself one. Do not be surprised when you eat the entire thing yourself in under two days. The crispy edges where the nutella burns a bit on the edges are especially dangerous. Your kids will want some, too, and if you are a better person than I (which I think you probably are ;-) ), you could share. This is what started the whole nutella thing for me (have even made nutella DIY and hoo boy–that stuff is REALLY dangerous) and I only make the pound cake 2ish times a year because I really do eat the whole thing myself. It’s just that good.

So, perhaps more than you wanted to know but I can’t help but share my enthusiasm for this pound cake when folks say “nutella.”

Looking forward to Friday :-) (though the head art lady is planning a class art celebration for that day. seems always something)

I have been a tad busy getting my menu ready and haven’t looked up the nutella cake yet. I will though and hope to try it soon! I make pound cake very rarely because of all those pounds, but it sounds like this one would be worth it.
