Thank so much to Chicken of the Sea for sponsoring this yummy recipe for oven taquitos. If you have ever wondered how to make taquitos, read on to see how easy it is!
You know how I feel about Mexican food. I flippin’ love it, and it’s not just because of the margaritas. I love the spices, beans, rice, cheese, tortillas, all of it. That’s why you’ll find so many Mexican recipes at The Weary Chef. Today I’m bringing you a super easy recipe for baked salmon taquitos that I just know you’ll love. It only needs a handful of ingredients including Chicken of the Sea Flavored Salmon Pouches. I love using these pouches as a recipe base because the seasoning is already included!
How to Make Taquitos
Baked taquitos are so easy to make. For this version, just mix up Chicken of the Sea Sriracha Flavored Salmon Pouches with sour cream and shredded cheese. Spread the mixture onto corn tortillas, and roll them up as tight as you can without cracking the tortillas.
Place the rolled tortillas on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat, foil, or parchment paper. Brush them with a little oil and salt, and then bake them for about 20 minutes. That’s all there is to it!
I like dipping my taquitos in guacamole, and more sour cream is always welcome too. (You can never have enough if you ask me.) If you can’t find the Sriracha Flavored Salmon Pouches, don’t worry! Just use plain Chicken of the Sea Salmon Pouches and add Sriracha or another hot sauce to taste. As written, this recipe makes just enough for two adults to have a modest dinner, so you’ll need to double or triple it to serve a family.

Preheat oven to 400 degree F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat, foil, or parchment paper.
Stir together salmon, sour cream, and cheese until well combined.
Spread the salmon mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla. Roll tortillas as tightly as possible (careful not to crack the tortillas), and place them seam side down with sides touching on prepared baking sheet.
Lightly brush the tops of the rolled taquitos with oil (or spread it lightly over the surface with your fingers). Sprinkle lightly with salt.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until filling is hot and bubbly and tortillas are brown. Serve with any desired condiments for dipping.
Notes
If you are unable to find the Flavored Salmon Pouches, just use a plain salmon pouch and add sriracha or other hot sauce to taste.

I don’t eat a lot of fish but I think these taquitos are the perfect way to get more fish into my diet. Plus sriracha!
I don’t normally think of seafood and cheese together. However, I think I could get behind these!

And I thought the debate was if chicken or beef was best in a taquito! I would have to vote Salmon!
Salmon always wins! Thanks, Meg :)
