Thanks so much to Safeway for sponsoring today’s post. You’ll love this easy sandwich for lunch. It features turkey, hummus, pickles, and cabbage for lots of flavor and crunch! Pairs perfectly with new, wholesome, and crispy GOOD THiNS Snacks!
One of our go-to quick meals for dinners or weekend lunches are sandwiches and wraps. You can put just about anything between bread or rolled into a tortilla and call it a meal! Deli meat and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, leftover meatloaf or pot roast… There are so many options, which is why sandwich recipes are usually family pleasers.
Whatever kind of sandwich I am eating, I like to have something crunchy on the side to go with it. Fries or chips are always a tempting option, but they aren’t the healthiest choice. Allow me to introduce you to Nabisco GOOD THiNS Snacks, a new chip alternative! They have a great crunch and come in all sorts of good flavors including Sweet Potato, Chickpea Garlic and Herb, Original Potato, Potato Spinach & Garlic, and Rice Veggie Blend. The Rice Veggie ones are gluten free, so that will be my go-to flavor. The rest of my family enjoyed the Spinach & Garlic and Original Potato GOOD THiNS Snacks. These things are great with cheese and fruit for an after-school snack!
So, back to my sandwich… This one is made with deli turkey, spicy hummus, cole slaw mix, and dill pickles. There’s a lot of flavor and crunch packed between those two slices of bread! Of course, you can change it up with your favorite hummus flavor and use spinach or lettuce instead of cabbage. However you make yours, just make sure to enjoy some GOOD THiNS snacks with it.
You can find these wholesome GOOD THiNS Snacks at your local Safeway store in the cracker aisle. Just look for the cute, friendly package!
