Thanks to Dollar General for sponsoring this fun Peanut Butter Chocolate Popcorn recipe!
Would you believe me if I told you that you can this make delicious chocolate-covered popcorn in just a few minutes? It’s true, and I’ll show you how! This easy snack drizzled with melted REESE’S® cups is so easy and SO GOOD. Grab yourself these three ingredients, and let’s get started (full recipe at the end of the post):
Popcorn
Peanuts
REESE’S® Minis
First, evenly spread popcorn and peanuts on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Next, cut REESE’S® Minis in half, put them in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat on half power for about a minute until melted.
Stir the melted candy really well, and use a spoon or small rubber spatula to drizzle the melted chocolate all over the popcorn mixture. Stick it in the refrigerator for at least a half hour until the chocolate is set.
Divide it into individual servings, and top each one with a few more peanuts and REESE’S Minis. Chocolate and peanut butter fans will go wild! (Do eat this right away after removing it from the fridge because the chocolate melts pretty easily.)
Line tray or cookie sheet with wax paper or foil. Spread popcorn and 1/2 cup peanuts on prepared tray.
Cut 1 cup REESE’S Minis Peanut Butter Cups into halves; place in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir vigorously. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until candy is melted and mixture is blended when stirred.
Drizzle over popcorn and nut mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until coating is firm. Make individual servings and top with remaining 1/4 cup peanuts and remaining 1/3 cup REESE’S Minis Peanut Butter Cups.
Notes
*Makes About 8-1/2 cups popcorn.
*Popcorn is best eaten the same day as prepared and shortly after removing from refrigerator.
*You can find all these ingredients at low prices at your local Dollar General Store!

Hi, Katie! I don’t usually think of myself as a huge peanut butter fan on its own, but combined with chocolate it is definitely one of my favorite flavors! Thanks for stopping by :)

Hi, Dominick! I can usually take or leave popcorn too, but once it’s covered in chocolate and peanut butter, it’s very hard to resist! Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment :)

I had to give some of this away to friends to keep from eating it all. Very tasty stuff!
I love this recipe because all the ingredients are in units of 1 so it is super easy to remember. When it comes to getting breakfast on the table I need something I can throw together pretty quickly and...
Queso is delicious. It is gooey, cheesy, and spicy. It is an absolute comfort food and something that is at its best when made with simple, grocery store ingredients. But for those of you that love...
Crema Mexicana (or Mexican style sour cream) is rich, smooth, slightly sweet and pourable. It works great as a condiment or as a substitute for sour cream or creme fraiche in dip and sauce recipes.
If you are like me I am sure you have made or eaten plenty of sour cream and onion dips that are made with onion soup mix or flavoring packets. Now those can be good, but this dip is GREAT! The only problem...
This is a herbaceous and fresh cilantro lime crema dip recipe that has only 3 ingredients, crema Mexicana, limes, and cilantro. It is amazing drizzled on tacos, nachos, quesadillas. I love this recipe...
