Happy Monday, Weary Chef readers! I’m Ashlyn from Belle of the Kitchen, and I’m excited to be here today to share some simple and delicious pasta recipes with all of you!
Pasta is one of those food groups that I could just live off of, especially if we lived in a world where carbs didn’t count. Wishful thinking, right?! But honestly, there is just something about a big plate of fresh pasta layered with cheese, sauce, and all of the other fixins’ that just takes me to a happy place. When I was growing up and my mom asked me what I wanted for dinner, my answer would always include some type of pasta. Usually it would be lasagna, and still when I go home to visit my mom now, it’s always my top request.
Now as much as I love my mama’s lasagna, it’s not a dish that I can throw together every night of the week (nor does it come out quite as good as when she makes it!) Most evenings I like to stick with quicker, simpler meals, and I always prefer less dishes!
