Gluten-Free Holiday Snack Mix

Here’s a fun, quick, and gluten-free holiday snack mix that requires no cooking at all! The kids can make it to hand out to friends at the holidays (but be sure to keep some for yourself too)! Thank you to Glutino Foods for sending me product samples that I used in this recipe.

Gluten Free Holiday Snack Mix - Very easy, no cooking recipe the kids can make themselves!

This super easy snack mix combines sweet and salty, quick and easy, festive and fun, and lots of other adjectives I love. This isn’t exactly a recipe since it’s just stirring some stuff together, but the flavor combination is completely irresistible and addictive. Plus, it’s gluten free, which can be hard to find when you’re looking for snack options.

I had the pleasure of recently trying some of the new pretzel flavors from Glutino Foods, and I’m in love. They introduced Salted Caramel, Fudge, Buffalo, and Honey Mustard pretzels, and they are all begging to be eaten by the handful or made into fun snack mixes like this. For this holiday snack mix, I used the Salted Caramel pretzels. If you know me, I’m sure you’re not surprised. Salted caramel is pretty much my favorite flavor for dessert.

With Valentine’s Day coming up, the kids will be signing cards and putting together goodies for their friends. This sweet and salty snack mix is perfect because they can do it themselves. My boys will be very proud and excited to mix up a batch of this treat and bag it up in cute goodie bags to hand out on V-Day. Of course, this will work for ANY holiday. Just change up the color of the M&M’s. If your child’s school is nut-free, you could try sunflower seeds in place of the peanuts.

    Andi,

I love checking out your new recipes. I am mom to a special needs son and he loves to eat. I always liked putting new things in “trail mix” I call it. Thanks for sharing.
