1 large butternut squash (halved vertically and seeds removed);
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil;
1 medium yellow onion (chopped);
4 garlic cloves (minced);
1 teaspoon brown sugar;
1 teaspoon salt;
freshly ground black pepper (to taste);
1/2 tablespoon fresh rosemary (minced);
3 cups vegetable broth.
