How to Saute Green Beans at Home

What Do You Need for Sauteed Green Bean Recipe?
Have you ever prepared sauteed green beans at home? They are super easy to make and much healthier than the store-bought ones, which are usually pre-boiled. This homemade version of this classic green vegetable side dish might be my family’s new favorite! Yeah, my kids would probably still prefer the crinkle-cut potatoes or the mashed potatoes with garlic; however, the ingredient list below is my final point! It really is only a 4-ingredient list!
Green beans – one essential detail when sauteing green beans, is how to choose the right vegetables. It would help if you searched for fresh perky ones; try avoiding sad and floppy ones with black dots.
Garlic – use no more than three kind-of-small cloves or one large one. Also, you should finely mince the garlic using a knife. Another essential tip is not to use a garlic crusher, as this makes the garlic go wet and pasty. In addition, please avoid using jarred garlic paste for the same reason. We donțt want soggy garlic in our sauteed green beans. Not to mention that, in most cases, the jarred paste doesn’t really taste like garlic and it’s oddly sour due to the preserving agents.
Olive oil or butter – if you’d prefer a buttery flavor on your beans, go with the second one. However, if you want a vegan side dish for your vegan guests, stick with the good old olive oil.
Salt and pepper – these are the only seasonings I like to add to this classic side dish. You, however, feel free to add Nany seasonings and extra flavors you love; from hot chili pepper flakes to oregano and basil.

Turkey Stuffed Peppers – This super tasty and hearty ground turkey stuffed peppers recipe is a healthy alternative to traditional stuffed peppers. Also, this is a gluten-free stuffed pepper recipe, so it is friendly for all of my beloved readers. Ground turkey recipes offer a great way to reduce some of the fat in the dish (compared to ground beef or pork), and frankly, I think my family really enjoys it as much as fatty ground meat.

Both of the dishes are ready in only a few minutes and you can also mix them in the wok if you like the idea of blending the flavors. Not to mention that this Ground Turkey Stir Fry is one of the most versatile recipes I know. You can use whatever vegetables you have on hand, make it spicy or sweet, and serve it with rice, noodles, or with shredded cabbage for a low-carb option. However, you’d choose, try pairing it with a hand of sauteed green beans with garlic; you won’t regret it!
Asian Ground Turkey and Rice – Prepare a super delicious dinner in less than 15 minutes with this Asian ground turkey and rice bowl recipe! It’s no surprise that ground turkey can be cooked in minutes because of its low-fat content. So, it’s perfect for any busy weeknight when you don’t have the energy for preparing a fancy dinner. So, just toss the ground turkey in the wok, let the rice cook itself, and pair everything with the sauteed green beans. There you have it – an authentic Asian-style dinner!
