Chocolate Coconut Popsicles (Dairy and Sugar Free!)

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

Can rich, creamy chocolate coconut popsicles be sugar free? You bet! Thanks to Truvia® Natural Sweetener for sponsoring today’s post through Social Stars where I’ll show you how to make this tasty frozen treat. #TruFanCommunity

Put a smile on your kids' faces with these creamy chocolate coconut popsicles that are sugar and dairy free!
You remember when I told you that I’ve been trying to cut way back on sugar? I thought it would short-lived like any other diet I’ve ever tried, but it’s really not even that bad! I’ve even gotten used to coffee with no sugar, which was probably the biggest adjustment. It helps that there are natural sweeteners that still let me enjoy sweet treats. I’m especially enjoying using Truvia® Natural Sweetener as a sugar substitute. It’s made with stevia, which is a plant that provides natural sweetness without calories.

Sweeten your popsicles with Truvia for a guiltless, sugar-free treat!

So far I’ve put Truvia® Natural Sweetener in margaritas, cookies, iced tea, and these rich, creamy popsicles. They are made with coconut and almond milks, so they are dairy free. They have no added sugar either, so these can be diet and allergy friendly! Would you believe this is the first popsicle recipe I’ve ever shared here? I think they are a food blogger recipe staple in the summer months, but I had never gotten around to making my own. When Truvia® Brand asked me to create a frozen treat, I knew it would have to be something creamy instead of fruity because that’s how I roll. These frozen treats rich in creamy coconut and chocolate flavor really hit the spot on a hot day!

Put a smile on your kids' faces with these creamy chocolate coconut popsicles that are sugar and dairy free!

The weekend is headed our way, and what better time to throw a popsicle party? Stick a batch of these coconut chocolate pops in the freezer, and maybe try my friend Cathy’s Skinny Pumpkin Pie Pops too. Have a super fun time right in your own backyard with cool, frozen treats, and don’t feel an ounce of guilt since they are sugar free!

Sweeten your popsicles with Truvia for a guiltless, sugar-free treat!

Want to try Truvia® Natural Sweetener for yourself? You can find it in boxes of 40, 80, and 140 packets, and it also comes in a spoonable jar. You can request a free sample right here. I also want to send one lucky reader a whole box of 40 packets to try. Enter to win below! (No purchase necessary. Giveaway open to adults 18 years or older in the 48 contiguous US states. Giveaway ends at 11:59pm on 9/7/2015. Winner to be selected at random. See full rules in entry form below.)

I wasn’t crazy about the spoonable Truvia in my coffee, but today I tried the baking blend in there and loved it! It has a little real sugar, which I think makes it taste better to me. Thank you, Selinda!

What great idea to replace the sugar! I feel like there is too much sugar in everything. My kids would love one of these chocolately popsicles!

Now that I’ve been looking at labels more, it really is amazing how much sugar there is in things. Subbing Truvia in recipes definitely helps a lot!

Thank you, Kacey! I have heard of people giving up sugar but never thought I would be one of them. It has been overall easier than I expected! I don’t know how long I’ll keep it up, but I’m convinced that it’s healthier for me :)

It took me a long time to decrease the sugar in my morning tea, but I’m finally down to the tiniest sprinkle. It can be tough! These popsicles look like a wonderful guilt-free treat – you can’t beat chocolate with coconut!
