Easy Irish Coffee: Two Ingredients, One Tasty Cocktail!

Happy Lunar New Year! Writing that makes me realize that perhaps I should have saved this Irish Coffee for St. Patrick’s Day and made something red or otherwise festive today. Oh well. I wasn’t thinking about holidays when I came up with this tasty warm cocktail; I was thinking about the weather.

I’ve got no complaints about the weather here in San Francisco (although some rain would be nice since we are now officially in a drought), but I’ve been hearing a lot of grumblings about frigid temperatures elsewhere in our country. While I’m trying to decide if I need long sleeves or not, other people can’t even go to work or school because the temperatures are unbearably cold. Because of this, I’ve sensed some dissatisfaction with my recent cocktails like Tropical Pineapple Sangria and the Green Fizz Midori Cocktail. The last thing I want to do is alienate my shivering friends to the east with cool, refreshing libations when all they want to do is warm up. So, I bring you a warm, comforting, and delicious (not to mention super easy) cocktail this week!
