Bursting with strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry flavor, this super easy Berry Sangria is just the thing to relax with!
Very Berry Sangria
Very Berry has no added sugar or other sweeteners and is organically caffeine-free. It contains a lot of antioxidants and vitamins. The flavor of this drink is “Very Berry.” A great fruit punch for youngsters and adults who want a drink with a berry flavor. also produces fantastic beverages. This is a lively blend of red summer fruits and berries that are juicy and packed with berries and float on top of delicate, acidic floral elements. Best eaten iced or as a complement to treats with fruit.
Sangria was largely unknown to American drinkers until the 1964 New York World’s Fair, despite its popularity across the Atlantic. The laid-back drink, which was served in the fair’s Spanish Pavilion, was well-liked by visitors who appreciated its bright red color and delicious flavor. Since then, Sangria has become a staple at backyard barbecues, holiday gatherings, and other events where a glass of joy is desired.
Tasty Berries
Eat a few berries, and your mouth will quickly fill with flavor. They taste just as fantastic for dessert as they do for breakfast. Berries have a wide range of health advantages, such as enhancing brain abilities, decreasing blood pressure, and preventing cancer. You should be able to tell that berries are nature’s candy simply by looking at them. Especially in terms of antioxidants, bright, highly colored fruits and vegetables have some of the highest quantities of nutrients.
Unless you have access to locally grown berries or can get them for a fantastic value, frozen berries are the most cost-effective option for this dish. In the freezer department of Costco, there is a triple berry blend that is quite reasonably priced. Pick an inexpensive wine for the meal.! It’s useless to spend a lot of money on something that will ultimately taste like berries.

Delicious Berry Sangria
I thought and thought about what to make for you today, but I kept changing my mind. My other ideas will appear in the next week or so, but today’s berry sangria recipe was meant to be. It was as hot as hades outside this weekend, so I didn’t want to take the boys outdoors to run off steam, but they had plenty of steam to let off. By Sunday evening, I was DONE. Done being hot, done with kids running wild, just ready for a break. Even the boys were done I guess because they both fell asleep by 6:30 pm yesterday!

After a long, hot day with cooped up, wild kids, there was only one thing to do: make sangria. This pitcher of sweet, refreshing berry sangria really hit the spot, and it couldn’t be any easier to make. I used frozen berries, but of course fresh would be great too this time of year. So, I love the frozen option because it means you could just as easily enjoy this easy white sangria in January as July!

I like my sangria best straight, especially if I’m enjoying it over ice since that will water it down a bit. If you want to make your sangria less potent or want to stretch it out for a crowd, you can add berry-flavored sparkling water or even blackberry Izze. This sangria is easy to make ahead of time and stick in the fridge before you’re ready to enjoy it. It should be good to drink for at least 48 hours if you have any leftover. (That never seems to be a problem at our house.) Cheers!

Health Benefits
There is strong evidence that mild to moderate daily alcohol intake lowers all-cause mortality (death), and particularly lowers mortality from heart disease when compared to non-drinkers and heavy drinkers. Negative health effects are associated with alcoholism, high blood pressure, several cancers (including breast cancer), high cholesterol, and binge drinking.
Traditional sangria, which combines red wine, fruit juice, and fresh fruit, offers certain nutritional advantages as well as some disadvantages. The occasional glass of sangria is not bad for your health, but it’s a good idea to do your information before deciding it your preferred alcoholic beverage by using a tool like a calorie counter.
- Moderate alcohol consumption, including red wine, may help reduce inflammatory mediators by modestly raising levels of high-density lipoprotein, a good form of cholesterol. You can minimize the risk of heart diseases.
- Fresh fruit chunks and some sort of fruit juice are usually added to sangria. 100% fruit juice increases the nutritional value of the sangria while also adding calories. The fiber, potassium, and vitamin A that fresh fruit provide to the sangria.
- Your sangria will have extra sugar if you use fruit-flavored juices rather than pure fruit juice, which raises your chance of gaining poor nutritional weight.
Storing Tips
- Sangria’s shelf life may change based on the type of wine you use. Sangria made with white wine might be kept in the fridge for 5-7 days.
- As a general guideline, chill the wine base and fruit mixture for 12 to 24 hours before making sangria. For the fruit pieces to fully absorb the wine, this amount of time is necessary.
- If made correctly, sangria should keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Your sangria may oxidize more quickly if you leave it out in the open.
- It’s ideal to preserve your sangria in bottles with screw-on tops so that it stays pure and unspoiled.
