Simple Red Sangria Recipe

If you have 10 minutes, you can mix up a pitcher of this easy red sangria recipe and be on your way to a fun cocktail hour!

Easy Red Sangria - wearychef.com Red wine is one of my very favorite things, so of course I love this simple red sangria recipe. I can’t say that I actually know much about wine beyond knowing that some taste better to me than others, and I rarely meet a glass of red wine I don’t like. The Pants, on the other hand, prefers cocktails. As it turns out, sangria is a perfect middle ground. This fruity, refreshing red sangria pleases wine and cocktail lovers alike. It couldn’t be simpler to make, looks beautiful, and is perfect for making ahead for a ready-made Happy Hour treat. It’s also an inexpensive way to serve a crowd because you get great results with cheap wine and spirits.

  3. Serve over ice or at room temperature. Add seltzer water if you would like a lighter taste. Cheers!
