Here we are on November 1st. We have to say goodbye to Halloween and proudly march toward Thanksgiving and Christmas (or Hanukah or whatever you celebrate this time of year). I’m not sure if this Caramel Apple Martini makes me think more of fall or Christmas, but it definitely says “holiday cocktail” to me. You could even make up a carafe of these for a holiday party with apple slices on the side for self service. No one wants to have to man a bar at a party, and this signature cocktail is easy to make DIY!

Caramel Apple Martini: A sweet holiday cocktail!

This simple cocktail with caramel and apple flavors is perfect for the holidays!

  • Total Time: 2 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 oz. apple schnapps (I used Berentzen, but Sour Apple Pucker would be OK too.)
  • 1 oz. butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 1 round apple slice optional but encouraged

Instructions

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer to chill
  2. Add apple schnapps, butterscotch schnapps, and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Add a few pieces of ice, and shake well. Strain into chilled martini glass.
  3. Float apple slice in cocktail, and serve. Cheers!

If I don’t have the apple schnapps–whatever would I do? Though I DO have boatloads of crabapple vodka. Thinking I’ll be good! Will be reporting back. Your picture is so pretty :-) And you put fruit in it so it’s kind of like a salad.
