Hi! Hold onto your hat because your weekly dinner menu just got a whole lot better. Let me introduce you to a fabulous custom meal planner!

Now that we’re on week #170 of weekly dinner menus, I feel like we might be ready to mix it up a little. (I know I am.) SO, let’s make this a weekly wrap up post. I’ll tell you about my new and recommended recipes for the week plus whatever else is going on in my neck of woods. At the end, you can build your own weekly dinner menu! That’s right. I’ll suggest a few recipes, and then you can very easily choose the recipes YOU want to make, all the while creating a grocery list to go with it! Don’t worry. I’ll show you exactly how to do it, but first let me talk about myself for a moment ;) (Feel free to talk about yourself in the comments.)

What I Have Been Up To

This week has been super busy. I am going to Las Vegas next week for a blogger retreat that I organized. There will be 22 of us plus a couple sponsor guests. I have never planned an event like this before, especially in a different city. I think it will go OK, but I have to say I’m a little stressed and nervous. Since I’m leaving town, I need to work ahead to have posts ready for while I’m gone. I let a lot of deadlines pile up for the end of the month, so I’ve been busy working on those. The good news for you is that you have a lot of great recipes coming up in the next couple weeks!

The best thing I’ve done this week though is get a custom meal planner up and running for you! I am SO excited to show it to you! Building your menu is SUPER easy to do, but I thought it would be easier and more fun to show you how instead of writing out the steps. Check out this little demo video I made to show you the ropes! After the video, you can see my featured recipes for the week that I suggest you add to your dinner menu!

OK, NOW, let’s get onto the business of building your own meal plan! I should tell you that the building feature works best on your desktop computer or a tablet. You can definitely do this on your phone, but it’s a challenge with such a small screen. I recommend building your menu on your computer and then clicking “SAVE” on the grocery list and emailing the link to yourself. That way you can use the shopping list on your phone at the grocery store. Please be sure to leave me a comment to let me know how you like this new feature! xo

More About The Featured Recipes

Ranch Chicken Pasta: This is an older recipe, but I prettied up the photos and the post a bit this week. It’s a good time to check it out and add it to your menu for the week!

If you love Ranch flavor and chicken alfredo, this recipe is a dream come true!

Cucumber-Strawberry Salad: This is a brand new recipe that we really loved as a side with tilapia. It is a perfect warm weather dish. You might think the combination seems a little weird, especially with the onions, but I bet you’ll love the taste!

This cucumber strawberry salad with balsamic cabernet dressing tastes like Summer!

Asian Fish with Bok Choy: This is one of my #1 favorite meals to cook. I’ve been making it for years! I hope you’ll love it too.

Thanks, Joanne!! I hope you will use it and let me know how you like it. We don’t have any shows planned, but there is one free night when we haven’t all decided what we want to do yet. I’m happy to just walk around and eat and drink with my free time ;) Have a good weekend!
